Why do the regulations currently only cover co.za names?

Category: Registration

This is because the demand for the .za domain name ADR procedure has previously concerned commercial domain names under co.za sub-domains. For sometime there was no apparent demand to extend the application of the procedure to other .za SLDs.

However, ZADNA is in the process of petitioning the Minister of Communications to extend ADRs to cover other SLDs, especially open, un-moderated SLDs such as net.za, org.za and web.za.
