ZADNA BREAKFAST BRIEFING

The .za Domain Name Authority (.ZADNA) has pleasure in inviting you to an informative engagement breakfast where the Chief Executive will address members of the media and invited stakeholders on the latest collaboration between ZADNA and CIPC.

“A platform that intends to grow .ZA namespace by simplifying domain registration simultaneously with company name registration”

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in collaboration with .ZADNA and ZACR now offers domain name registration for any registered company, close corporation or co-operative. In an effort to enhance the business opportunities to new companies the CIPC has decided to include domain registrations as one of the service offerings. This will allow companies to register their own domain names before-, during- or after the company registration process. Companies will also be able to defensively register domain names to protect their brand.

The .za Domain Name Authority (.ZADNA) has pleasure in inviting you to an informative engagement breakfast where the Chief Executive will address members of the media and invited stakeholders on:

  • Developments in the .ZA namespace
  • Progress in implementing ZADNA’s statutory mandate
  • Growth potential of domain registrations & Registrar markets.

The main focus of the breakfast is on the recent collaboration with the CIPC – Companies & Intellectual Property Commission, intended to grow the .ZA namespace.
