Invitation of Comments and Feedback: .ZA GENERAL POLICY
Invitation of Comments and Feedback:
.ZA GENERAL POLICY
The .ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) hereby invites comments and feedback on the draft .ZA General Policy. The General Policy is intended to be the overarching policy document for the .ZA namespace, which confirms and clarify key principles, practices and standards that underpin the registration and management of domain names in .ZA.
It also clarifies fundamental differences that exist between restricted and unrestricted .ZA second level domains (SLDs), and the exceptions that may exist in the treatment of different SLDs. The General Policy lays a foundation on which future ZADNA policies and regulations dealing with specific areas may be developed.
COMMENT AND FEEDBACK SUBMISSION
ZADNA invites and encourages .ZA SLD administrators, registries, registrars, registrants and members of the South African public to give written feedback, comments and views to ZADNA for its consideration before finalizing the General Policy. The General Policy will become effective from a date to be determined by ZADNA.
Comments and feedback may be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 086 688 7109, marked for the attention of Vika Mpisane, ZADNA CEO, to reach him by 16h00 on Friday, 16 January 2015. Submissions received after this deadline may not be considered.
Enquiries should be directed to Vika Mpisane at telephone number 011 314 0077 ext. 601 or at the aforementioned email and fax numbers.
